JIM
WALES, author of the ARENA
process, teaches a course at San Diego Mesa College on called
Personal Growth 140: Life Skills and Personal Adjustment,
and he uses one of Adam Khan's books, Principles For Personal Growth as one of
his textbooks.
If you'd like to study Principles For Personal Growth and get college
credit for doing so, get more information here. It is an online
class so it doesn't matter where you live. You can sign up for the class here (scroll
down to the "PERG 140" class the list is in
alphabetical order using the four-letter class name in the second
column). Jim Wales' classes fill up quickly every semester and
he has to turn away students, so start early.
Here's a description of the class: "Students
learn and apply personal achievement principles, coping strategies,
and life skills that develop each area of emotional, social,
educational, and professional life. Emphasis is on gaining mastery
in self-esteem and compassion, self-discipline, self-responsibility,
self-assertion, and living a consciously balanced life in pursuit
of defined educational, career, and life goals."
